Esoteric Breast Massage (referred to as the EBM) is a modality for women practiced only by accredited female practitioners. The EBM is a deeply nurturing therapy that can offer women the opportunity to restore an innate connection to femaleness, a quality known as stillness and from there inspire a greater ease to self-love, self-care and strengthen self worth.

The EBM also highlights to women the need to care for and nurture themselves, as many women are used to putting others first, which can leave them exhausted and their bodies depleted. As a result of having EBM sessions women have been inspired to truly nurture and honor themselves.

 

An EBM is a very gentle and delicate massage that specifically centers around the vascular, lymphatic and self nurturing areas surrounding the breast tissue. The breasts themselves are not massaged.

 

The treatment room is heated, providing an environment in which the woman is able to surrender more easily to herself, away from the ‘doing and busy-ness’ of life. The client is given a warmed, disposable towel to place over her breasts. On the treatment table a larger warmed towel is placed over her. She remains covered at all times except when a specific part of her upper body is being massaged.

 

All EBM Practitioners are EPA Accredited. Yearly assessments are made to ensure that the high standards required to be an EMB practitioner are maintained.
